How A Web Series Uses Viewer Feedback to Program and The Next Big Internet Book

This weeks New Media Minute takes a close look at how one Web show, MojoHDs The Circuit, is harnessing Web data to fine-tune its editorial and distribution strategy each week. The episode also covers a new project from one of TVWeeks 12 to Watch in 2008, Bill Tancer. Hyperion is due to publish his first book Click in September and will offer certain chapters for free downloads online this summer.

Daisy - did you see who writes The Circuit? Yuri Baranovsky - writer and star of the web sitcom Break a Leg - http://www.breakaleg.tv It was very smart for Mojo to hire a veteran web series writer.

Interesting. That is great knowledge for them to use and give the viewers what they want.

However did they use any data encryption or some type of data grabber to get all this information? or Did they just eye ball the info?

Just wondering how they got the data.
