Have you ever just so casually, unintentionally worked in an element in an early draft of a novel that lo and behold happened to VITAL later on? I have! And now I have coined a term for such a phenomenon. And it’s AFTUBAU. Catchy, I know. Come watch my video to learn all about AFTUBAU.

this is fabulous. I absolutely AFTUBAU (lol!) in every book — the revelations down the road are always thrilling to find.
This is why I love revision (usually!). Finding AFTUBAU moves the story to a whole different level.
It’s like finding buried treasure isn’t it? AFTUBAU is one of my favorite things about writing.
lol!! You are so awesome! I’m not sure I have ever had an aftubau moment, but I do love those “aha” moments when you realize that something you’d written just meshes so perfectly with a new plot twist.

Daisy, I think you just might be a genius. AFTUBAU…seriously? That’s genius!!! : ) You definitely have to copyright, trademark, or whatever you do, with that one.
I must go check my writing now for any AFTUBAU…LOL.
Have a great day, Daisy!!! : D
It doesn’t get much better than that, right? Lisa usually discovers our AFTUBAU moments and calls me screaming. Best phone calls ever.
Daisy, my daughter loves your videos. Budding writer? I hope so.
I love it when this happens! Gives me confidence that my characters really do know what they’re doing.
Thanks for stopping by my blog! I love this video (you are quite good on camera). AFTUBAU is the best. I’m pretty sure our brains are wired so that even the smallest details we write can be remembered and become important later.
