I'm currently querying a YA (fourth novel written and the most potentially successful yet) with thus far only one request for a full - which ended in a pass but the agent thought my ms was totally marketable and tight. Sometimes I simply turn the radio on to full volume, crack a bag of dark chocolate and run screaming through the house like Ophelia in her last days. It's so leveling to hear that other people have survived and come out the other end with their sanity, an agent and a book deal... and maybe several more books under their belt.
